‘CMA Country Christmas,’ hosted by Amy Grant and Trisha Yearwood, is set to air on Thursday on ABC and will be available for streaming on Hulu and Disney+.

Lainey Wilson and Zach Williams have collaborated on a spirited rendition of the holiday classic “Go Tell It on the Mountain.” The dynamic performance is part of this year’s CMA Country Christmas special. In an exclusive clip shared by PEOPLE, Wilson, 31, is seen wearing a festive red-and-green plaid ensemble, featuring her trademark bell bottoms and a wide-brimmed hat. Williams, 45, complements the festive atmosphere with a brown fringe jacket, matching shoes, black pants, and a black brimmed hat at the Nashville event.

“I’m looking forward to this,” expressed Williams in a backstage interview at CMA Country Christmas. “This is gonna be fun!”

Wilson, his duet partner, shared her excitement about performing the classic Christmas song with Williams, calling it a “crazy” experience. “I’ve been a fan of yours for a really long time,” she explained. “and getting to do ‘Go Tell It on the Mountain’ — which, I grew up going to Baskin Baptist Church, and every single year around this time, this is what we would sing.”

Williams concurred: “This is an honor for me. I’m a big fan, and so getting a chance to do this song and then just be here and be a part of CMA Country Christmas. Some of my favorite artists are performing. It’s awesome.”

Apart from Lainey Wilson and Zach Williams, other confirmed performers at the 14th annual holiday special, CMA Country Christmas, include Jordan Davis, Amy Grant, Lady A, Ashley McBryde, Jon Pardi, Lindsey Stirling, and Trisha Yearwood. The hosting duties for the event will be shared by Amy Grant and Trisha Yearwood. CMA Country Christmas is scheduled to air on Thursday at 8 p.m. on ABC, with streaming availability on Hulu and Disney+ the following day.

In 2023, Lainey Wilson experienced a significant year, winning Album of the Year for her second major label record, “Bell Bottom Country,” at both the CMA Awards and ACM Awards. Moreover, the album received a nomination for Best Country Album at the upcoming 2024 Grammy Awards. Wilson herself is also nominated for Best Country Duo/Group Performance for “Save Me,” a collaboration with Jelly Roll.

“Bell Bottom Country is nominated for country album of the year at this year’s #GRAMMYs, and my brother @jellyroll615 and I snagged a nomination for country duo/group performance with ‘Save Me,’” Wilson shared on social media following the announcement of the nominations. “It is an honor, to say the least. Thank you @recordingacademy, and big congrats to all the nominees 👏🏻🤘🏻”
