The band marked its 15th straight sold-out performance at the iconic venue during its concert on Sunday, Aug. 2.
Fans attending the Zac Brown Band’s latest concert received an unforgettable surprise during the group’s milestone performance.
While celebrating its 15th consecutive sold-out show at Boston’s historic Fenway Park on Sunday, Aug. 2, the band announced that every fan in attendance would receive a complimentary cruise for two aboard a Margaritaville at Sea ship. According to a press release, the giveaway included more than 37,000 cruise tickets valued at over $40 million, making it the largest surprise audience gift ever presented at a live entertainment event.
Frontman Zac Brown revealed the unexpected announcement from the stage just before the band performed its 2021 song, “Same Boat.” He told the crowd that the extraordinary gift was something even the late Jimmy Buffett would have considered unbelievable, before confirming that everyone at the concert would receive the cruise offer.
Christopher Ivy, CEO of Margaritaville at Sea, said the company was proud to partner with the band on the historic giveaway, describing it as a memorable way to thank fans for their years of loyalty and support.
The concert also set another milestone, becoming the band’s 15th straight sellout at Fenway Park. Zac Brown Band additionally holds the venue’s record for the highest number of tickets sold for a single performance.
The group launched its 27-city Love & Fear U.S. Tour in July, with the final stop scheduled for Nov. 21 in Rosemont, Illinois.
As part of the tour, the band is also awarding four cruise vacations at each concert aboard Beachcomber, Margaritaville at Sea’s newest ship, which is expected to begin sailing in January 2027.
The vessel will feature Same Boat, a live entertainment venue developed in collaboration with Zac Brown. Inspired by his 2021 song with Jimmy Buffett, the space is designed to recreate the atmosphere of an intimate front-row concert while combining live performances, premium sound, handcrafted cocktails, and Southern-inspired hospitality.
