Kelsea Ballerini isn’t letting rumors get out of hand.
After the Miss Me More singer, 31, postponed several tour dates, speculation arose about a possible pregnancy. On Friday, Feb. 7, she addressed the claims head-on with a TikTok video.
In the clip, which featured a comment reading, “Maybe pregnant?!” at the top, Ballerini appeared congested and wore under-eye patches. She set her phone down, stepped back, and lowered her head in frustration.
“Or, maybe it’s the flu,” she said before sniffling and adding, “Yeah. Cool.”
The Cowboys Cry Too singer recently postponed three tour dates due to illness. On Thursday, Feb. 6, while performing on her Kelsea Ballerini Live Tour, she took to her Instagram Stories to explain why her Buffalo concert had to be cut short.
“Buffalo, I am so, so sorry that I couldn’t finish the show tonight,” she said of her performance at KeyBank Center in Buffalo, NY. “I’m feeling worse than I’m letting on, and the last thing I wanted was to disappoint anyone.”
After pushing through a few songs, she realized she couldn’t continue. “I just couldn’t do it,” she admitted. “I’m so sorry, but I never want to give you a half-hearted show.”
Promising to make it up to fans, she added, “I’ll pull out all the stops for you and make it absolutely worth it.” She then signed off by saying, “I’m going to rest and get better so I can truly show up for the rest of this tour.”
Ballerini and her boyfriend, Chase Stokes, are still going strong after first sparking romance rumors in January 2023. The country singer and the Outer Banks star marked their two-year anniversary on Jan. 7, with Ballerini sharing a heartfelt Instagram post featuring never-before-seen moments from their relationship.
The post included snapshots of the couple enjoying time together at the beach, at home, and while traveling, along with their dogs, Dibs and Milo. She also added a funny clip of Stokes cleaning up after their pets—only for Dibs to make another mess right behind him, prompting the Netflix actor to jokingly call it “purgatory.”
