Riley Green Announces First-Ever Role on Television

By Website Content Manager

“…it should be on TV sometime in the near future.”

For months, Riley Green has been dropping hints that his next venture might take him off the stage and onto the screen—not just another music video, but something bigger.

In a recent chat about his busy year and his collaboration with HEYDUDE, the country star officially confirmed what fans had been speculating: his acting debut is on the horizon. While he kept details limited, Green teased enough to spark curiosity.

“I need to sit down and check what I’m allowed to share… but I can say I’ve done some acting for a show, and it should be airing fairly soon,” he revealed.

Transitioning from live performances to a film set came naturally for Green, thanks in part to his already jam-packed tour schedule, which left little time to feel nervous.

“It helped that I knew some of the people on set. They were great to work with, and that made the whole experience easier. A lot of times, that’s not the case—at least from my experience with music videos and commercials. Once I got on set, I felt comfortable, and it all just kind of happened. Before I knew it, the scene was over, and I thought, ‘Well, that went okay!’ They didn’t have to yell ‘cut’ at me, so it was a lot of fun,” he said.

Balancing travel and acting posed a challenge, but Green found the experience rewarding.

“The travel was tough because I was still performing almost every weekend, flying back and forth. But once I was on set and in the mindset for acting, it felt pretty natural,” he added.

While fans await more details on Green’s acting role, his music career shows no signs of slowing. In 2026, he’ll hit the road for the Cowboy As It Gets Tour, performing across North America with some exciting new production elements.

“We’ve added a B stage and upgraded some of the lighting and stage setups, which I’ve never done before,” Green said. “The overall vibe is still very much in line with my style—a kind of duck blind feel—which is where I feel most comfortable on stage.”
