Morgan Wallen Hit with Nearly $16,000 Fine for Breaking Foxborough Curfew

Running 14 minutes over the curfew proved costly.

Morgan Wallen Hit with Fine After Curfew Violation at Gillette Stadium

Over the weekend, Morgan Wallen played two massive, sold-out shows at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, MA, giving fans an unforgettable experience. But while the performances drew rave reactions, the country star now faces a steep fine for running past the town’s curfew.

According to The Boston Herald, Wallen’s Friday, Aug. 22 concert stretched 14 minutes beyond the mandated 11:30 p.m. cutoff. With penalties set at 25 cents per attendee, the overage resulted in a nearly $16,000 charge.

“The Morgan Wallen concert on Friday night is being fined for exceeding the curfew, and his team is aware of this,” a Foxborough spokesperson said in a statement. “The curfew was set for 11:30 p.m., but the last song began at 11:44 p.m.—14 minutes past the cutoff.”

Despite the setback, Wallen returned Saturday night for the second show of his I’m the Problem tour stop, once again performing to a packed stadium at the home of the New England Patriots.

He’s far from the only artist to test Foxborough’s curfew rules. Bruce Springsteen still holds the record for the largest fine in Gillette Stadium history after his 2016 concert ran until nearly midnight, costing him more than $22,000.

Even so, Wallen’s shows were memorable for more than just the fine. The singer kept up his signature walk-out tradition and was joined by special guests both nights: New England Patriots head coach Mike Vrabel on Friday and NFL legend Rob Gronkowski on Saturday.

“GRONK’S BACKKKKKKKK,” Gillette Stadium and the Patriots wrote on Instagram.

Morgan Wallen’s I’m The Problem Tour Nears Final Stretch

Morgan Wallen’s I’m The Problem Tour, which launched June 20–21 in Houston, TX, is now heading into its closing dates. The Tennessee native has just four shows remaining before wrapping up the hugely successful run. He’ll perform back-to-back nights in Toronto, Ontario on September 4 and 5, followed by two final stops in Edmonton, Alberta on September 12 and 13.

The trek has boasted an impressive rotating lineup, with country heavyweights like Brooks & Dunn, Miranda Lambert, Thomas Rhett, and Koe Wetzel providing direct support. Rising artists including Gavin Adcock, Corey Kent, Ella Langley, and Anne Wilson have also joined along the way, contributing to a string of standout performances.

Fans have been treated to a dynamic setlist blending Wallen’s biggest hits with fresh tracks from the album that inspired the tour’s title.
