“Miranda Lambert Reacts Playfully After Fan Tosses Bra Onstage During Her Concert: ‘It’s Been a While’”

“During her set at the Lea County Fairgrounds in Lovington, New Mexico, a fan threw a bra onto the stage.”

Miranda Lambert Handles Bra-Throwing Fan with Sass: ‘It’s Been a While’

Miranda Lambert wasn’t fazed when a bra came flying her way mid-show — in fact, she turned it into a punchline.

In a TikTok video that quickly went viral, the country star was between songs at the Lea County Fairgrounds in Lovington, New Mexico, when a black bra landed onstage. Instead of being thrown off, Lambert, 41, picked it up with a grin.

“Who threw this bra up here? Okay. It’s been a while, but thank you,” she quipped, dangling it from her fingers before hanging it on her mic stand. “It ain’t my size, but I’m gonna hang it right here.”

Without missing a beat, she launched into her 2011 anthem “Baggage Claim,” announcing, “This one’s for the ladies tonight!” and later rallying the crowd with, “Where are my girls tonight?”

Fans applauded her quick wit. “Awesome reaction. I love her easygoing way of handling it,” one person commented, while others flooded the clip with laughing and heart emojis.

The lighthearted moment stood in contrast to a string of recent incidents where artists have been hit by objects onstage. Luke Bryan, for instance, was struck in the face by a plush toy during his North Dakota State Fair set in July. “My official statement is people throw things at artists and they’re idiots,” Bryan, 49, later said on The Bobby Bones Show.

Lambert, meanwhile, has built a reputation for addressing audience antics head-on. Just last summer, she posted a tongue-in-cheek Instagram video encouraging fans to “pick your times” if they’re going to fight at her shows. Weeks later, she scolded distracted fans at Montana’s Under the Big Sky Festival, reminding the crowd: “If you came to sing and hear some country music, and drink some beer and raise some hell, then we’re doing that tonight. Are we clear?”

With her latest mic-stand accessory, Lambert proved once again she can turn a rowdy moment into part of the show.
