Miranda Lambert Brings Her Storytelling to TV With Upcoming Series

By Website Content Manager

Lambert will take on the role of executive producer for the scripted series.

Miranda Lambert is taking her storytelling beyond music and onto the small screen. The country superstar will serve as executive producer for a new untitled scripted series on Hulu, inspired by her acclaimed discography.

Deadline reports that Sony Pictures Television is developing the project, with Judalina Neira set to showrun, write, and also executive produce the series under her overall deal with SPT.

The show is designed to reflect the emotional depth and honesty of Lambert’s songwriting, exploring themes of resilience and loyalty. Often described as “Big Little Lies with a honky-tonk twist,” the storyline follows two women whose friendship is tested as one helps the other escape an abusive marriage.

Seeking a fresh start, the duo moves to a small Texas town, only to discover that rebuilding their lives comes with unexpected challenges. As they adjust to their new community, buried secrets begin to emerge, showing that their new home is just as complex as the lives they’re trying to reconstruct.

A premiere date for the series has not yet been announced.

Alongside this new venture, Lambert is preparing for a potentially celebratory night at the 68th Grammy Awards in February. Already a three-time GRAMMY winner, she enters this year as a four-time nominee: Best Contemporary Country Album for Postcards from Texas, Best Country Song for “A Song to Sing” (as a songwriter), and Best Country Duo/Group Performance for both “A Song to Sing” (with Chris Stapleton) and “Trailblazer” (with Reba McEntire & Lainey Wilson).

Fans can catch the “Armadillo” singer at Music’s Biggest Night on Sunday, February 1, live from Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles.
