Megan Moroney Delights Knoxville Fans with Unexpected Autograph Session After Show

By Website Content Manager

Moroney stuck around for hours after the concert, personally signing autographs for her fans.

This past weekend, Megan Moroney wrapped up a four-show stretch across Tennessee, ending things on a high note with her final performance in Knoxville. With a break in her schedule before the next stop, she decided to forgo her usual post-show routine to do something special for her fans.

The Georgia-born artist swapped her stage outfit for something cozy, grabbed a margarita, and headed back inside the venue — determined to sign every single piece of merchandise until the last fan in line had been helped. In a video recap of the heartfelt moment, she mentioned the show drew a crowd of 5,000, hinting that she had a long night ahead.

“It sounds like a pretty easy job,” she laughed. “Let’s see how it goes.”

Megan Moroney wasted no time jumping into her impromptu meet-and-greet, autographing everything from posters and hats to t-shirts as fans—many dressed in glittery royal blue outfits and white boots—waited patiently in a winding line.

Halfway through the marathon session, Moroney took a quick “30-second margarita break” to give her hand a rest and cool down. The decision to spend time with fans proved to be an unforgettable experience for both her and the crowd. A few emotional concertgoers were even brought to tears after meeting the “Man On The Moon” singer and sharing how much her music means to them.

As she made it to the final stretch of the line, Moroney and her team finally had a moment to celebrate the night’s success. She bid her fans farewell, wished them safe travels home, and then finally got to kick back and relax.

Fans quickly took to social media to share their excitement, including one who was floored after Moroney complimented her hair. While signing merchandise, Moroney looked up and noticed a fan with blonde hair similar to her own.

“I love your hair! So cute,” she said, before adding, “You literally look like me… I’m obsessed, you’re so cute.”

Though the fan wasn’t shown in the video, her response online made her joy clear: “I’m never letting this moment go OMGGGG!!!!”

The heartfelt fan interaction was a perfect ending to Moroney’s Tennessee run on her AM I OKAY? Tour. Before Knoxville, she played back-to-back sold-out shows at Nashville’s new venue, The Pinnacle, on April 9 and 10.

Her 50-stop headlining tour picks back up April 24 with three consecutive shows in Fishers, Indiana, St. Louis, Missouri, and Bentonville, Arkansas. The remainder of the tour includes performances at iconic venues like Red Rocks Amphitheatre and the Greek Theatre, and it will wrap up in October.

The tour is named after Moroney’s sophomore album, AM I OKAY?, which dropped in July 2024 and became the third-highest debut of the year by a female country artist on the Billboard 200. The album—and its deluxe edition—has produced a series of fan-favorite tracks including “28th of June,” “Indifferent,” “No Caller ID,” and the emotional standout, “Man On The Moon.”
