Maren Morris Wants To Open A Nashville Bar Called My Church

“It would be in an old church, maybe a Catholic one,” Morris told Stephen Colbert.

Will Maren Morris be joining the growing list of artists to open their own bar in Nashville?

During a recent appearance on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, the songstress reflected on how even though she has been a Nashville resident for the past 11 years, she often finds herself missing parts of her home state in Texas, especially the food. Morris explained that Music City hasn’t quite met her standards for Tex-Mex, but maybe she will be the one to change that. 

“Nashville is amazing…incredible music culture, food culture as well. But yeah, Tex-Mex they haven’t nailed it yet. Maybe that’s what my next thing should be. Not that I know anything about it,” she told Colbert while brainstorming the idea to open her own restaurant.
