The pair have decided to keep the gender of their third baby a total surprise.
Luke Combs and Wife Nicole Share Baby No. 3 Update — and Why They’re Keeping the Gender a Secret
Luke Combs and his wife, Nicole, delighted fans in late September when they announced that baby No. 3 is on the way this winter. Now, Nicole is opening up about her pregnancy journey in a candid Instagram Q&A, sharing both her struggles and her family’s excitement — along with their decision not to learn the baby’s gender.
Just like her previous pregnancies, Nicole admitted she’s been battling bouts of nausea. When a fan reached out saying they were experiencing the same, she replied with a simple but encouraging “God speed.”
With two sons already — Tex Lawrence, 3, and Beau Lee, 2 — fans have been curious whether the couple was hoping for a girl this time around. Nicole was quick to clarify that’s not the case.
“We are not going to keep going just for a girl,” she wrote. “I don’t understand that logic. We’re happy with any and all lil nuggets.”
She also revealed that she and Luke have chosen not to find out the baby’s gender before birth. “If I could go back and not find out each time, I would,” she said. “We don’t care what we have — I know people always say that, but we really mean it. Happy and healthy is always the goal.”
The couple shared their pregnancy news in an adorable Instagram video. Sitting on the grass with their sons’ backs to the camera, Nicole unveiled the ultrasound, prompting both boys to throw their hands up in excitement. A second clip showed a close-up of the ultrasound before the soon-to-be family of five walked hand in hand away from the camera.
Their caption read: “Third time’s a charm! ✨ Baby #3 coming this winter 🤍”
The video was soundtracked by a brand-new Luke Combs song, “Days Like These,” featuring heartfelt lyrics about cherishing life’s simple moments:
“Days like these are worth more than gold
But they can’t be bought, and they can’t be sold.
On days like these, when the sun shines bright,
I feel like it’s all gonna be alright.”
2026 is shaping up to be a milestone year for Combs. Alongside welcoming another baby, the country superstar will embark on a massive world tour spanning two continents and eight countries. He’s also hinted that new music is on the way — though he hasn’t yet shared details about the upcoming album.
