Open and Honest About His Weight Loss Journey
In a candid chat with CMT, Jelly Roll shared his excitement about touring with Post Malone, especially after reaching this milestone in his health journey. His humor shone through again as he joked, “I’m wondering if I lose a little more weight and when I get to Italy, if they’re gonna mistake me for Post Malone.”
He joked that with his weight loss and their shared face tattoos, mix-ups are bound to happen.
“You know what I mean? Like, if I get skinny enough that they just see face tattoos. They’re like, ’Post! Post!’”
In another conversation with his wife, Bunnie XO, the Tennessee native explained why it was important to be open about his journey with the public. By sharing the ups and downs of his weight loss experience, he hopes to inspire others.
“I wanted to lose it in front of everybody. I wanted to talk about it … This is constantly what I’m putting in the air because I want to bring people along with me.”
Post Malone and Jelly Roll kicked off the Big Ass Stadium Tour on April 29th in Salt Lake City. The tour, promoting Malone’s latest album F-1 Trillion, will continue through July. Starting in August, the duo will take the tour international, performing in countries like Germany, Romania, Austria, Poland, Switzerland, and more.
