Fans, country musicians, cancer survivors, and supporters came together to support a meaningful cause.
The Nashville community came together in a big way on Tuesday night for the American Cancer Society’s annual Country vs. Cancer benefit concert at The Pinnacle, raising over $350,000 to support ACS programs and research.
According to the ACS, a new cancer diagnosis occurs in the U.S. every 15 seconds. This stark reality brought together thousands of country music fans, donors, survivors, and top artists on Giving Tuesday to raise crucial funds in the fight against the disease.
Presented by The HARDY Fund and Whiskey Jam, the evening went beyond music, providing a platform to share the real-life experiences of those affected by cancer.
Hosted by Ward Guenther, the concert featured performances from HARDY, Miranda Lambert, Dierks Bentley, Lanie Gardner, and McCoy Moore. Between sets, attendees heard moving stories from patients undergoing treatment, survivors, caregivers, and advocates — underscoring the ongoing need for research, support services, and patient resources.
“It was an honor to be part of Country vs. Cancer this year,” HARDY said. “Music brings people together, and we united for an important cause on Dec. 2. I’m so grateful to have been part of this event and help raise money for those battling cancer.”
“Nashville and the country music community came together in an amazing way for patients and their families on Giving Tuesday,” added Shane Jacobson, CEO of the American Cancer Society. “Country vs. Cancer reminds us that when we stand together, cancer doesn’t stand a chance. We are deeply thankful to the artists and community for helping ensure that everyone impacted by cancer has hope.”
The event was produced by TRACK Management and Kevin Meads of WME, with support from The HARDY Fund, which invests in community programs across Mississippi and Tennessee, and Whiskey Jam, Nashville’s beloved live-music series.
