The country music star took home an impressive five awards during the ceremony.

Ella Langley was overwhelmed with emotion after her major victories at the 2026 ACM Awards, nearly struggling to speak while accepting her honors.

The “Choosin’ Texas” singer collected five awards during this year’s ceremony, which was hosted by Shania Twain.

While delivering an emotional speech on Sunday, May 17, at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, the 27-year-old artist expressed heartfelt appreciation for her family, faith, and fellow nominees.

“I’m trying to say something, but I honestly can’t,” Langley admitted tearfully before thanking the women in attendance.

She went on to describe having an emotional day leading up to the event, recalling how Lainey Wilson comforted and prayed with her backstage. Langley also praised Miranda Lambert for her encouragement, saying she would not have reached that moment without the support of strong women in country music. She additionally thanked Kelsea Ballerini for always showing her kindness and support.

Langley was nominated alongside Wilson, Lambert, Ballerini, and Megan Moroney. She also gave a heartfelt shout-out to Lauren Alaina, expressing her love and gratitude.

Her impressive sweep included Artist-Songwriter of the Year as well as Song of the Year and Single of the Year for “Choosin’ Texas.” She also shared the Music Event of the Year award with Riley Green for their duet “Don’t Mind if I Do.” Overall, Langley earned seven nominations.

Earlier, Langley revealed during an appearance on Country Countdown USA that after “Choosin’ Texas” reached No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, Lambert — who co-wrote the song — offered her valuable advice about prioritizing her well-being over her career. Langley said the encouragement helped reassure her during the whirlwind success.

The 61st Academy of Country Music Awards, hosted by Twain, streamed live on Prime Video from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas.
