Country music legend Lorrie Morgan has canceled all her concerts and public appearances for the next two weeks due to a family emergency

Lorrie Morgan married her husband, Randy White, in September 2010, and she shared his cancer diagnosis with the public last year.

Country star Lorrie Morgan is stepping back from her schedule due to a family emergency.

The “Except for Monday” singer’s manager shared that she has canceled all concerts and appearances for the next two weeks after her husband, Randy White, was hospitalized during his ongoing cancer treatment.

“Morgan’s husband of nearly 15 years, Randy White, has been undergoing treatment for mouth cancer,” manager Tony Conway said in a statement on Thursday, April 17. “White has been readmitted to a hospital in Middle Tennessee.”

At 65, Morgan was slated to perform with Alabama on April 17 and 19, but singer Pam Tillis will take her place. Morgan was also scheduled to appear at the Opry Country Classics concert in Nashville on April 24.

It’s still unclear whether Lorrie Morgan will cancel additional performances, but she is scheduled to resume a series of headlining shows starting May 3, continuing through August.

Morgan and White, an entrepreneur, were married in a private beachside ceremony in September 2010. Before that, Morgan was married to country singer Keith Whitley from 1986 until his tragic death in 1989 at the age of 34 due to alcohol poisoning. She was married four other times, including to country singer Sammy Kershaw, before tying the knot with White.

In April 2024, Morgan revealed that White was undergoing treatment for mouth cancer.

“We deeply appreciate the prayers and well wishes, and for continued support and privacy as we focus on Randy’s health and on our family at this time,” Morgan shared in a statement.

In December, she provided an update on Facebook, mentioning that her husband was “making some progress.”

“We are strong and he is determined,” she wrote. “I love you RanRan.”
