The businesswoman, who is married to Jelly Roll, also disclosed that her podcast’s name pays tribute to the country legend.

Bunnie Xo’s podcast might be in for an exciting update.

The 44-year-old entrepreneur hinted in a Facebook post on Friday, July 19, that Dolly Parton could make an appearance on her Dumb Blonde podcast this season.

“I MIGHT have Dolly on the podcast this season, and if it happens, I’ll be in total disbelief,” Bunnie wrote. “LIKE WHAT?? The Queen MOTHER DOLLY — I’ll be overwhelmed with emotion.”

She also shared how significant it would be for the 78-year-old “Jolene” singer to join her podcast.

“I named my podcast as a tribute to her,” Bunnie added.

Parton’s debut single from 1967 was famously titled “Dumb Blonde.” Penned by Curly Putman, the song appeared on her first album, Hello, I’m Dolly.

The lyrics include lines such as, “Just because I’m blonde don’t think I’m dumb / ‘Cause this dumb blonde ain’t nobody’s fool.”

In 2018, the 10-time Grammy winner recorded a new version of the song with Miranda Lambert for the soundtrack of the Netflix film Dumplin’.

Since Bunnie Xo launched her podcast in 2019, she has welcomed a range of guests, including Melanie Martin, Dita Von Teese, Demps, Brantley Gilbert, Colt Ford, and her husband, Jelly Roll. The episodes typically focus on discussions about relationships and various life experiences.

In a recent episode of her Dumb Blonde podcast, Bunnie reminisced about the first time she encountered the “Save Me” artist, well before his rise in country music.

“We met at Las Vegas Country Saloon in 2015,” she shared. “He was opening for the Moonshine Bandits, and I remember thinking, ‘What is this? Who is this big southern guy?'”

Bunnie shared that they had the chance to get acquainted because the venue was relatively empty, resembling “a big room with a stage.”

“We were backstage, just hanging out and having drinks, but J wasn’t widely recognized,” she explained. “He was opening for the Moonshine Bandits, and while he might have had some recognition in Nashville, he was not known on the West Coast. We were there for the Moonshine Bandits.”

Bunnie and Jelly Roll have been married since 2016. She is also the stepmother to Jelly’s two children from a previous relationship: 15-year-old daughter Bailee and 7-year-old son Noah.
