Blake Shelton explained that he still has not had the chance to watch Gwen Stefani perform because their schedules always overlap, saying, “We work on the exact same nights.”

Blake Shelton shared that he has been thoroughly enjoying his Live In Las Vegas residency at Caesars Palace, with only two performances left before the run concludes. Meanwhile, his wife, Gwen Stefani, is performing alongside No Doubt at the Sphere through June 13.

Speaking backstage at the ACM Awards, Shelton revealed that he still has not seen Stefani’s Sphere production because both of them usually perform on the same nights. However, he said that is finally about to change, as he now has a free evening that lines up with one of her shows.

Shelton explained that he has intentionally avoided watching rehearsals, browsing social media clips, or even looking at photos because he wants to experience the concert completely fresh. He added that the upcoming performance will also be his first visit to the Sphere, something he is especially excited about.

The country star also described how he and Stefani usually reconnect after their respective concerts, noting that she is often exhausted from the physically demanding performance. Shelton joked that unlike his own relaxed stage presence, Stefani spends the entire show moving nonstop, climbing around the stage and performing with remarkable energy.

Although Shelton laughed about his own performance style, he admitted he initially found the idea of a Las Vegas residency intimidating. Surrounded by legendary performers such as Shania Twain, Garth Brooks, and Eagles on the Strip, he questioned whether he was ready for that level of entertainment. Now feeling more comfortable in Vegas, Shelton said he finally understands that audiences mainly want connection, personality, and interaction during his shows.
