Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani’s love is as strong as ever.
On February 14, the Austin singer, 48, shared a heartfelt selfie on Instagram with his Hollaback Girl superstar wife to celebrate Valentine’s Day.
“Happy Valentine’s Day to my forever Valentine,” Shelton captioned the photo, where he’s seen embracing Stefani from behind as they both smile. “I love you @gwenstefani!!!!!”
Stefani responded in the comments with a sweet message for her husband, writing, “love my husband x.”
Shelton and Stefani married in 2021 after first meeting on The Voice in 2014 and beginning their relationship in 2015.
When they met, both artists were navigating recent divorces—Shelton from Miranda Lambert and Stefani from Gavin Rossdale.
At the time, Stefani—who shares sons Kingston, 18, Zuma, 16, and Apollo, 10, with ex-husband Gavin Rossdale—had feelings for Shelton but was hesitant about starting a new relationship.
“We had just met, and everything was chaotic. Our lives were completely turned upside down, and nothing could have saved us at that moment,” Stefani told PEOPLE in November 2024.
She continued, “There was a point where I thought, ‘I can’t even talk to you. This is crazy. I already have enough to deal with. This isn’t happening anymore—we’re not texting or anything.’”
Over time, their bond grew through music. “I think he really wanted to impress me because he doesn’t write songs as often as he used to. And I love songwriting—it means everything to me. If I want to feel like I have purpose or value, it comes from writing a song. That’s where I find fulfillment,” Stefani shared.
Since then, the couple has worked together on several songs, including Go Ahead and Break My Heart, Nobody Like You, Happy Anywhere, Purple Irises, and more.
