Billy Ray Cyrus Says He’s Been Teaching Elizabeth Hurley Guitar and Praises Her Progress, Calling Himself Her ‘Patient Boyfriend’

Elizabeth Hurley is picking up a new hobby.
On Friday, August 15, the 60-year-old actress posted a sunny pair of photos on Instagram. In the first picture, she sat on a wooden swing in a flowing white dress while holding an acoustic guitar.
“My very patient boyfriend is trying to teach me how to play ❤️❤️❤️ (and yes, he’s going to fix the missing string 😉) ❤️❤️❤️,” Hurley wrote, tagging her partner, Billy Ray Cyrus.
Fans and friends flooded the comments, including her son Damian, who sweetly wrote, “Aww love this ❤️❤️❤️.” Cyrus, 63, also joined in, posting: “My girl’s really starting to sound good on that guitar ❤️. Definitely making my June. We’re heading to Jackson this fall!!!! @elizabethhurley1 is hotter than a pepper sprout! 🔥🔥🔥.”
The Bedazzled star and the “Achy Breaky Heart” singer first confirmed their relationship in April and have since shared plenty of affectionate posts online.
In June, the couple attended the London premiere of Something Beautiful, a visual album by Cyrus’ daughter Miley. Hurley later uploaded a highlight reel from the event, showing the pair walking the carpet, posing together, sharing kisses, and enjoying clips from Miley’s project.
That same month, Cyrus honored Hurley’s 60th birthday with a heartfelt Instagram tribute. He shared a photo of the actress sitting on his lap, both of them beaming, with the caption: “Happy birthday to the love of my life ❤️.”
Their story goes back to 2022 when they first met while filming Christmas in Paradise. Although sparks flew, they didn’t reconnect until years later, when Hurley reached out during a difficult period in Cyrus’ life.
The two made their red-carpet debut in Rome on May 24 at the opening of the Orizzonti/Rosso exhibition. Earlier that month, Hurley attended a breast cancer research fundraiser where she was asked about her connection with Cyrus.
“We’re really happy. We both love country music, we both love the countryside, and we both adore our children. We’re very happy together,” she said at the event.
