Beyoncé continues to captivate audiences worldwide with her Cowboy Carter Tour, dazzling fans with her elaborate stage presence and fashion.
Now 43 and a record-breaking Grammy winner, Beyoncé is midway through her tour, having already performed in cities like Los Angeles and Chicago, and is currently in East Rutherford, New Jersey.
One standout ensemble featured the star in a vibrant red custom catsuit designed by Moschino. The outfit featured a bandana-style trompe l’oeil design adorned with an astonishing number of embellishments: 223,200 red Swarovski crystals, 34,650 clear crystals, and 75,200 hand-beaded tassels. The look was completed with coordinating red cowboy boots and a matching hat.
Moschino showcased the craftsmanship behind the outfit on social media, posting behind-the-scenes clips of artisans meticulously applying each crystal by hand. The striking look was styled by Shiona Turini and created under the direction of Adrian Appiolaza.
Western-inspired fashion played a central role in Beyoncé’s nearly three-and-a-half-hour performance, which included over 35 songs. Another notable costume featured a white leather Mugler ensemble, highlighted by a corset-style bodysuit and buckled chaps with 1,740 precisely laser-cut fringes.
The tour is also a family-centered affair. Beyoncé’s daughter Rumi, 7, made a live appearance after being featured on the Cowboy Carter track “Protector.” Rumi joined her older sister, 13-year-old Blue Ivy, who performs as a backup dancer. A rare video of Rumi’s twin brother, Sir, is also part of the show.
Beyoncé revealed her tour plans back in February, shortly after her special Christmas Day Halftime performance during an NFL game streamed on Netflix. That event marked her first live performance of songs from the Cowboy Carter album, released in March 2024.
