“I had no clue this was happening tonight – I thought I’d just play one song, hang out briefly, and head home,” Aldean confessed.

Jason Aldean received a spectacular surprise from his record label and team during the Country Radio Seminar (CRS) on Thursday, celebrating his 31st No. 1 hit with a special party.

The star-filled event was hosted by Jon Loba, President of BMG Americas’ Frontline Recordings, and JoJamie Hahr, EVP of Recorded Music at BBR Music Group/BMG Nashville. Friends, collaborators, and musical heroes gathered to honor Aldean’s impressive career, which boasts 13 Top 10 country albums and 31 chart-topping singles at country radio.

Blake Shelton kicked off the festivities by performing Aldean’s No. 1 single “When She Says Baby” and later delivered a humorous original poem that had everyone laughing. Aldean’s favorite band, Alabama, also took the stage, performing “The Closer You Get,” a song he frequently covered early in his career, creating a nostalgic moment for the Georgia native.

Travis Tritt, a longtime friend and musical influence, surprised the audience with a rendition of Aldean’s hit “Night Train.” The celebration continued when Florida Georgia Line’s Brian Kelley and Tyler Hubbard reunited to perform “You Make It Easy,” a No. 1 single they co-wrote with Morgan Wallen and Jordan Schmidt.

The party also honored the 54 songwriters behind Aldean’s 31 chart-topping hits, including names like Rhett Akins, Kurt Allison, Brett Beavers, Ashley Gorley, Ben Hayslip, Josh Mirenda, Morgan Wallen, and many more.

Video tributes were shared by stars including Lauren Alaina, Brooks & Dunn, Luke Bryan, HARDY, Miranda Lambert, Chase Matthew, Rascal Flatts, Thomas Rhett, Willie Robertson, Darius Rucker, Lainey Wilson, Carrie Underwood, and Trisha Yearwood. Aldean enjoyed the tributes alongside his wife Brittany and other family members.

The evening concluded with a visibly surprised Jason Aldean performing his 31st No. 1 single, “How Far Does a Goodbye Go,” capping off a memorable night of celebration.

“This is unbelievable… I can’t believe this,” Aldean said from the stage. “It feels like every songwriter who’s ever worked on my records is here. I had no idea this was happening – I thought I’d just play one song, hang out for a bit, and go home. I’m so grateful to all of you. The writers here tonight are the reason I have a career, and I can’t thank you enough. To everyone at country radio, Jon Loba, and the team at BBR, thank you for tonight and for the past twenty years. I’m completely blown away.”
